For Alicja, every painting is a dialogue with the transcendent. She does not paint what she sees — she paints what she feels in moments of deep silence. The brush is an instrument of prayer, and the canvas a space of encounter with the sacred.

She believes art can heal, open and transform. Her paintings are not decoration — they are companions on the inner path.

About the artist

Seeker of the sacred in colour

Alicja Szczukowska began her creative journey working as a designer for clothing companies, where she developed her aesthetic sensibility and sensitivity to form and colour. At the same time, she participated in numerous artistic competitions and engaged in charitable activities. The artist's work captures the viewer's attention, stimulates the imagination and invites reflection on transience, existence and the spiritual dimension of the world. In her paintings she combines elements of the physical, energetic and spiritual realms, creating a unique message of deep symbolism. Her works are an expression of emotions and the "cry of the soul", as well as an account of the relationship between humanity, nature and the universe. The leitmotif of Alicja Szczukowska's painting is light, energy and spirituality. The artist describes her works as high-vibration visions — a form of prayer and deep meditation. In cycles such as "Vibration of the Light of the Soul – Vision of Inspiration (The Mechanism of Creation)" and "Wave of the Love of Creation (Vibration of Light)", she portrays the spiritual interpenetration of the physical and metaphysical worlds. Her paintings offer an insight into the three-dimensional world of emotions, energy and spirituality, and at the same time an invitation to inner dialogue and the search for oneself in the light of the soul. For the artist, spirituality is the driving force of her creativity — the source of creative power, an awakening of body and soul, and a symbolic "cry of the soul" expressing authentic emotions and inner strength. Key artistic events: 27 April 2023 — Milan, Italy Participation in the international exhibition "The Power of Art", where the artist was featured in Milano Today magazine for her work "Creation of the Soul". 16 September 2023 — Sanremo, Italy Received the Career Achievement Award (Premio alla Carriera Artistica), established by the Effetto Arte Foundation, in recognition of her long-standing artistic activity and contributions to the arts. 20–22 October 2023 — Paris, France Participation in the international art fair ART SHOPPING PARIS at Le Carrousel du Louvre. Awarded a distinction for the painting "Vibration of the Light of the Soul". 3–10 May 2024 — Florence, Italy Participation in the international exhibition "Humanity – Peace in the World" at the Bellini Museum (Tuscany). Received a distinction for the work "Balance of the Space of Light". 13 June 2025 — Rome, Italy Participation in the exhibition "Evolution of Art: Between Creativity and Experimentation" at Medina Art Gallery. The event was curated by Francesca Callipari — art historian and critic. 13 July 2025 — Prague, Czech Republic Presentation of works in the centre of Prague, among remarkable artists. 29 November – 5 December 2025 — Milan, Italy Participation in the spectacular exhibition "In Alis Artis – On the Wings of Art" at the Museum of Art and Science MAS.
